What is this bolt for? 1941 pickup. I’ve seen it unused on other pickups too.

That’s an interesting idea. I just looked again and although the battery tray is mounted lower on the passenger side, there is a bolt mirrored on the passenger side which is the battery ground post. Maybe some configuration or some option grounded there?

Battery ground connection for the 6 cylinder version as the battery is on the left for the 6?
