Just want to share my latest experience. I am in need of the B-35178 - 32-33 floor inspection plate cover.I went on line and Mac's had it.I went thru all the drills to order it ($10.95)and nearly fell over when int'l shipping came up $63.80.If it was more they would contact me.Now mind you its a approx 3" tin disc.I decided before ordering to call Mac's customer service and being placed on hold for 15 min I gave up.I wanted to see if they would alter the shipping.I ended up calling V8 Ford Sales in SC. The very nice lady checked on the part and they do not stock it.Since they order weekly from Macs she kindly offered to order me one and send it 1st classmail to France.Shipping $14.Kudos to them!!!

It's very typical of Mac's.
It's why it's the EXTREME last place I'll order from, in fact, I've not needed to order from them in years because other vendors most always have the same items.

Mac's changed hands a while back. Check to see if they have a "minimum order" policy. I have seen that over the years from some vendors. If so, it should show in the fine print of their invoices. I haven't ordered from them for years for a variety of reasons.

Mac's= last resort. They will have what you want at a decent price but are legendary for killing you on the exorbitant shipping fees. I guess thats where they make their money.

Mac's was purchased by the eckler group (corvette) and I was told the warehousing is done in Fla. so I would guess they need to recoup the moving expenses

For us guys down under at least, the only way to buy off of Mac's is via eBay. Then you at least get more reasonable shipping.
