After a lot of work, rebuild the motor transmission, steering box, new wiring, clean and de-mouse nest the radiator, clean the gas tank, install new glass in the windshield etc. we finally took the 31 Town Sedan for a real ride.
I’ll admit that it was only a few miles in the neighborhood, but it was a lot more than back and forth in the driveway. It ran great! 3745F46B-7BAD-4B82-A680-61F87DBFBDEE.jpg |

That's a nice car. I hope you leave it as is and just keep maintaining it in its original condition.

The interior looks ok and the paint looks is poor so I am making sure any rust gets stopped but not removed. Forgot to mention it has a lot more power than the 1919 T. ![]() |

about 20 years ago I purchased an FX Holden, a GM Australian build. the first Holden type. It has 23000 miles only. each mudguard (fender) was badly scoured and I figured it had transited through fences. Otherwise it was in perfect order.
I took it to our local panel beater and asked him to repair and he talked me into then painting the entire car. I agreed. Well that was the silliest thing I did. Took it away from being original and I now regret it. Whilst it is still pretty decent I don't warm to it like I do the Model A.
