Can spark plug wires be tested with an ohm meter or do I need a multi-meter? If a typical ohm meter can be used what would be the proper setting and what would be an acceptable resistance reading? Settings from 200m 2 20 200 or 1000?

Just don't cheap out when buying new wires. You definitely get what you pay for!
