I have a 97 that leaks internally from float bowl. It is not evaporating, and with the air horn off I can watch it drop. Fuel level seems correct. I have had different power valves in it,so I do not think it is pv leaking.
Could the accelerator pump check valve be the cause? It pumps ok and the carb idles fine, but has always been hard to tune. I knew it was always low on gas when the rear carb was full, but did not realize it leaked so quickly. New 97 with 1500 miles on it. I do not want to send it off to Max if I can fix it. John |

Is it leaking from the accelerator pump hole on the top of the carburetor?
