Hello all. I am still searching for a front bumper for my Customline. I've come across one in a local scrapyard, but the owner says its for a 1954. I've tried to look at photos online, but can't see any huge difference. Will a front bumper from a 1954 work on my 1955 Customline? I appreciate any information or advice. Thanks for viewing.

They may resemble each other but in the Hollander they are different #'s. Look for 55-56.

If I remember correctly, the '54 bumper had a little bit of a recess around the two inner most bolt holes (where a bumper guards fit) and the '55 was flat around those inner holes. I don't remember if he HAD to use the '55 bumper brackets or not, or if he had to do a little work on them, but he made the bumper fit. .
