Model A Ford Ahooga Horn ID

[PJSpecial]

I have a GMI/GIM horn. It has the correct markings on the bell rim and motor rim. There is no motor cover at this time. I know that this horn was known to have the brushes in a unique position. This horn has the brushes in line with the motor bracket. When did GMI/GIM do this type set up?

Thanks Bob. The motor brushes are positioned like the other brand horns. My thought was GIM altered their setup.
