Default Crankshaft bolt torque spec

Can someone tell me the torque spec for the crank bolt at the pully on a 239 engine ?

More like donīt over do it or you crush the washer...
Tighten until engine turns over and be happy with it

`According to notes I made in 1973 when I rebuilt my engine, the 239 Ford 8BA calls for the following: 45 to 55 foot pounds for the crank pulley to crank bolt. It has never come loose. The same is also used only for the 1951 Merc engine. 49 and 50 Merc may be different.

Even at over 220 MPH 45 to 55 Foot Pounds works perfectly.
