Default Do Inserts replace Babbitt Bearings?

Do Inserts replace Babbitt Bearings for crank and cam - elsewhere? What would a person need to buy when replacing rods and pistons with new.

Thank you.

You have to do machine work to install them.

Thank you. So this eliminates babbit? Correct? Just want to be sure.

Most of the time cam bearings are ok the way they are. There is no bearing material in the cam bearing. They are just bored in the block, so they are part of the block cast iron. If they are worn bad you can bore out the block and put in cam bearings.
