Default 1939 side molding question

I have two sets of the moldings pictured, different lengths. The cross section is 1939 Ford but the curved ends and the non-Ford mounting clips makes wonder what they fit. Open to all ideas

The ends look sawed off. May have started life as something different than what they appear to be today.
