Default Open header question?

I just installed a new carb, intake and header. Is there any problem with running around in it with an open header since there is no back pressure? Ill be doing the exhaust next week but want to drive it around this weekend. The rest of the motor is stock.

I say go ahead. I have heard it said that the open headers will allow cold air in on shut down and warp valves, but personally I would not worry about it if you have any length at all.
