What shocks are these?
Can someone please tell me what year these shocks may be. Got in some parts I bought and I am wanting to list for sale. Thanks !

They look like 1940's era ford shocks that were made to fit on a 32 ford .

there should be some numbers cast into the shock arms that will help ID them, also a fordbarner in NC rebuilds these style shocks-he advertises in the for sale section

The mounting holes do not appear to be offset and if that is the case then they would not fit '32s.

What's the center to center on the mounting holes? Do the arms move, but with resistance...as in, are they usable shocks as is?

I believe they aren't 1940 but later ones with a center 4.437 and the 1932 ford has a center 4 inches . I think yours are 1941 truck big one or so but will check my book tonight

Those are 41 and up front shocks.someone bent arms so they would fit a 33-34 car.What shocks are you looking for?

Mike if I didn't have one bent like that I would have to agree with ya. But mine is bent the same way and show no sign of not being factory. I think a big truck with a wider frame rail and big bend to get it back. I haven't found it in my books just yet....

Houdaille shocks made for Studebaker 's had the arms like that.
