Did we ever determine if there was someone who was selling restored shells, -or was doing a decent job on restoring '30 or '31 shells? I have a customer needing a '30 shell for their project.

Brent,
I have gotten some restorer stainless items inclulding a shell once from Vintage Vehicle Stainless I believe in Wisonsin. I'll PM you with their number. Not cheap but then it takes a lot to do them right and they are top notch. I was very pleased. Larry Shepard |

I'm not a metallurgist, but the welding experts will know what I mean. The purpose of this is then encourage anyone who needs a shell repaired to search out the qualified people to minimize problems later with the restore..
