Default 1904 Model A Ford

While at the Old Car Festival in Greenfield Village, I had the opportunity to witness some "original" Model A's. Thought it was pretty neat.

There were some nice early models there. I have some pics, too. I will try to load them at some point.

Yes, we were all parked in that location which is generally reserved for the Lansing to Dearborn Reliability Tour participants. John & Dorothy Grace had their Model-A along with a 1 cylinder Cadillac close by which is always neat to see the similarities. Also, Jeff Kelley brought the Kelley Family's (-which is the late Tim Kelley who used to be a Fordbarner here) 6 cylinder Model K and the '04 Model-A. Several other alphabet cars always parked in that area.

The Cadillac cars were built at the plant where Ford originally was to build his first production cars but the investors took another tack and hired Henry Leland to decide what to do with the new plant that was being built. Cadillac was born there instead. Ford went on to Mack road with investors that would stick with it.

I guess when the build 5 million 25 years later the prices don't hold up in the collector market.

Average Sale Value
USD$71,715

Lowest Sale Value
USD$39,600

Highest Sale Value
USD$103,899

Data based on 7 auction sales.

for the same price, Ild rather have the caddy. looks the same- body- but tolerances are better on the caddy.
