valves
could you just replace 1 valve with a new one? the exhaust valve on #4 dose not look good

You must check the seating to the valve face with lapping compound and correct the gap at the bottom of the valve.

Yes, but why not just replace all of them with the new lightweight valves (pictured below) sold by Model-A vendors?

Brent: Have not seen those lightweight valves before but they have real performance possibilities. Would absolutely improve mixture flow.

I do not get valve float with those valves. I hope they work good at the hill climb this month. |

Just add your reed plate, and your all set for twice the flow.
