I finally got around to repairing my fuel gauge. It would seep just a trace when the tank was over 3/4 full.
I got the metal tools from Mike's Afordable, along with the gasket kits and additional large brass gasket. The brass float also came from Mike's. I followed the instructions in Les Andrews book and also searched previous threads here on the forum. I used two lightly oiled large brass gaskets/washers under the outer ring..worked great... This is a photobucket slide show.....I hope it works!
