Default Running board trim

I'm looking to buy some running board trim for my late 31, is some better than others, is it hard to put on? Is one vendor better than others? Thank You.

on the 30-31 running board trim Rootlieb makes the closest to original and fits the best of all that I have found.

Be careful with the end pieces and be sure they are installed level without dipping to one side or the other. Some &%$&! moron didn't do this on a Model A coupe that I worked on for a friend last year. He installed the front end piece at an angle with the outer side dipping downward, leaving a razor sharp tip that sliced the top of my hand as I pulled myself out from underneath while adjusting the clutch. The cut was so deep that it barely bled, but damaged the tendon to the second finger from the thumb. I still can't make that finger touch my palm and probably never will. Yet another scar and compromised body part thanks to some stupid son of b*tch Model A "restorer" and his attention detail.

I used double faced tape to hold the end pieces in place until the running board bolts were tightened.

Marshall: Sorry to hear about your injury. That really sucks. Another reason to remember to wear gloves while working on your car - something I rarely do.

Per Brent's comment, I bought some zinc running board trim from Bob Burdick exactly two years ago for my 30 town sedan (I have yet to install it, yet) to replace some deteriorating "stainless" trim on my car. He was selling what he had left, as I recall. I can PM his address, as I am sure that Brent can, too.
