Default Idle Jet Problem on 9Super7

So, I got a new replacement 9Super7 carb from Speedway, at no added cost to me. Now the accelerator pump works. Hurray.

But now the left idle circuit is not working. The right jet will slow the idle speed if I close it down, and gets a little rough if I open it too far. However, the left idle jet has no effect on engine idle at all, from closed tight to three turns out.

With a triple carb set up, I must try every possible solution before removing the center carb base, just because I do not want to mess with the progressive linkage set up, unless I have to. What is the best way to clear that blocked idle circuit?

The two secondary carbs have no idle circuits, which simplifies idle adjustment, but depends on having both secondaries throttle plates completely and exactly closed at the same time. Otherwise, it is like trying to get a smooth idle with a big vacuum leak. Easier said than done!

Thanks.
