Clutch plates , ??? tried most major parts suppliers & plates the same , No returns too hold the springs in & a customer has had on two occasions a spring pop out , Question is it his vehicle if so whats the problem ? if its the plate it self then where can we buy NEW ones from ?? not wanting anything rebuilt , New only, These don,t appear to be stir fry ones but not the same as was available few years ago , 9" V8 style. Still fairly hot in NZ . Want good weather for Big 3 swap in Feb Please .

maybe the transmission and engine are not in line. That would cause the clutch hub to move all the time, which would cause the springs to be moving all the time the input shaft is turning.

Derek. Not sure if this answers your question, but I just bought one of these from Steve at Berts And it has the lips on the sides to prevent the springs from popping out. Just started it for the first time yesterday. Good luck. Bonneville will be here soon,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe.

Quick Change,
I would NOT hesitate in coating the springs with Silicone Rubber.

Bratton's clutch disk has metal tabs to retain the springs. https://www.brattons.com/clutch-disc.html
