I'm replacing the door bottoms in my 31 roadster. I just ordered the lower door seals also. Can someone tell me how they attach or show me a picture of what it's supposed to look like on the bottom of the door.

I'm not aware of any door seals on the open cars like the closed cars used.
There is a rubber flap on my 29 Tudor, but nothing on my 28 Phaeton.

It looked like there may have been petrified remains of a seal before I cut the rot out. How does your rubber flap attach?

My Tudor rubber seal slips over the door panel clips, and is then pushed into place on the door.

On my '31 40-B there is a slot that the rubber bottom door seal slips into. See Snyder'a A-19010. I can take photos later if you need them. Russ

That would be great! I just ordered that seal along with some other things earlier this week but since I didn't have much door bottom left I have no way to see how this went in.

I am also working on a 31 roadster with rotted door bottoms. I bought the lower door seal plus the metal channels that you tack weld to the door bottom from Brookville Roadster

I use peel and stick draught excluders from the hardware store - the ones meant to stop draughts around the house. They come in a range of thicknesses up to about 12 mm. If that isn't enough, I'd use a piece on both the door and the body.
