This (pictures) is a 10 leaf spring and I can not remember what it is from, i.e.- coupe/roadster/sedan front/back ? Anyone ?

Did the front spring vary from body style to body style? I don't know the answer but figure that if the weight of the engine doesn't change so why would the spring that supports it?

That is a front spring. All passenger cars were equiped with a 10 leaf front spring. The rear springs are the ones with varying numbers of leafs.

Your input brings back to mind the info that I'd forgot.
I located the '30/'31 roadster rear spring in the stuff pile. Should have realized that this is the front from same same....thanks !
