Yep, truck hubs and axle's like we used to run on stock cars back in the 50's.

It's a GMC 3-71, the easiest to adapt to a flathead 4 barrel manifold because it only has one discharge outlet. 4-71 and 6-71 have two outlets.

Now this is a big blower, and this car does actually run.

That's quite impressive getting a blower drive and a fan in that length hood. It's tight but it's in. Yet see many A V8's with cut firewalls.
Adiloe,
Thanks for sharing, got any pics of the other side of the engine? Like to see how he's done what he did, there something happening on the generator mount are of the intake.
Martin.

Tight is right. In photo #2 it looks like the guy may have moved the radiator forward, just a bit, to get the room he needed so as not to hack the firewall.

I found this photo on the Inter web. An obvious shot taken during construction of what appears to be this same car. A generator bracket is visible on the driver's side of the blower chain above the water pump pulley. But no generator is mounted in this photo. You can also see the truck rear axle in this photo.

If you look at some early pictures of cars that had blowers, some did use chain drive or a set of 6 or 8 "V" belts. When steel and Kevlar reinforced belts became available they became the norm. Cool little Model A, how does it sound when it's running?

Have to agree Capt. The curve lines appear to be smooth and aerodynamic.
