Here's another. At the Miller Church and cemetery. This is an old country church and is never locked. It still has the pews, and there is a guest book on the entry table, along with a chart on the wall that shows the names of all who are buried in the cemetery, as well as where the grave is located. The church and cemetery are still being used. Note the foundation: it's sitting on rocks.

That's nice. I just hate to see good buildings get abandoned then go to ruin.
The sawmill building still looks pretty good, but shows no sign of use. |

The rest of the mill is about the same vintage, and it is in full (though small) operation! I wanted to go look at it, but I only saw one old fellow working, and I didn't want to interrupt him. I was able to get this shot because the shed is somewhat removed from the main operations. I think it may still be used for storage. I'd really like to get inside and look around!

Great photos! The B&W treatment adds to the nostalgia that I reckon is inside of every vintage car owner.

Ray, tues we had 14 A's,and a 40 pu, and a 54, plus a bunch of moderns for over 50 people, come down from Tacoma to Woodlawn, and tour the 1879 cedar creek grist mill. I got a lb of corn meal, and a lb of soft white for pancakes. Can't wait to try cooking with it. I put 290 miles, on the car, and was gone 12 1/2 hrs. I'm guessing you guys have toured the mill as well? If not, you should plan a trip. Very interesting history. You can google it for pics. And you
