They're moving it to Florida per the MTFCA bulletin board.

Robert, does "moving it" mean they will reopen sometime later in Florida?

Probably want to get out of corrupt New York. I don't blame them. Worst state to do business in.

I have had bad and good experiences with mac since the sell out. dealing with an order taker who is not even familiar with the catalog is what gets me. I am old school and I miss the old days. From dealing with ecklers on corvette parts I can only hope it gets better, but I doubt it.

I tried to order steering box parts during one of their 10% off promos and got to the checkout and shipping was $29.99 and the biggest part was a Steering Sector. Since I got the part numbers off ebay after struggling with the online catalog I thought I would compare the costs. They had the same parts in their ebay store and they were 10% off also. The thing that really got me was in the checkout process they offered a shipping discount for multiple items purchased and after the discount the shipping cost was $6.33 for the same items!

their shipping is the worst. if you don't live in the contiguous ( my spelling is bad ) 48 states , it used to say continental but they backed out of that when we here in Alaska complained that we were on the same continent. . I ordered $97 worth of stuff from them last week, and the shipping to Alaska was $56. by Fed X , the only way they would ship it. I try to do business with people who use the USPS. what I ordered would have fit in a small flat rate box, and yes , the flat rate box cost the same to send to Florida as it does to Alaska.

I got on the phone and talked to them about the shipping cost and wanted to make sure everthing was ready to ship.
After a bit of haggling we came to an agreement, still a lot of money for shipping but i needed the parts.
Next comes an email saying the parts i needed the most is on backorder.
They have to do somethng radical to get back on track.
Now i need to go hunting sector arm bushings and get them here in a hurry...

Eckler built a new huge warehouse in Titusville Fl. about three years ago. About 5 miles from my house. Makes it easy for me if I need a part.

I had a similar issue but called them. The nice lady on the phone said that they could/would ship by USPS if you call. So I placed my order on line and the confirmation said shipping by FedEx. I contacted the nice lady again and she changed it to regular mail. Anyway, they can ship by mail if you call them.
