Default 1929 Light Switch and Steering Wheel

I have been working on a 1929 A. This car has a 2-tooth steering box with the 1929 steering wheel. For some reason the light switch is very close to the steering wheel to the point where the light switch will turn on when the steering wheel is turned. Steering wheel and light switch are re-pop.
Anyone have an idea of what may be the cause for this? Wrong length horn rod perhaps?

Thanks, Smitty
