This Delco modification never generated a charge and so the battery kept running down. I don't remember who I bought it from (before cancer 4 years ago). Anybody know who can debug this or do I have to buy another one? Sorry for the poor photo and upside down. 6 volt Delco 1 wire positive ground alternator

one of the best alternator guys around is in lexington nc built me a 6 volt for 1/4 price of anyone else. everything for your model a, even to rebuilding engines

Virtually any alternator shop should be able to repair it.

Helping with the debugging...

I hope this is taken well, but have you REVVED the engine to energize the alternator ?

Have you put a volt meter to the system to see if its putting out 7 volts or so?

Does the amp meter move either way to prove it works and is permitting a charge to get to the battery?
