I'm looking to buy a top boot for my 29 Roadster. In going through Snyder's catalog and I see they carry LeBaron Bonney and Cartouche. They admit that the Cartouche products may be a step below Lebaron Bonney. However, if I'm reading the catalog right, the Lebaron Bonney top boot in black is less money (I'm guessing it's not canvas) than the Cartouche boot. This isn't a show car. I'm just looking for a little protection for the top. Has anybody had any experience with either one of those top boots? Thanks

My understanding is the Cartouche isn't a step below L/B, but a full staircase below other's quality.
Mitch has a better name for their low quality. |

I have seen them both and I am not impressed with either. I am in the process of having one custom made at a canvas outlet. Wayne
