Default Pedal Rubber pads????

If you use them, how do you keep them attached to the pedals? Just slipping them on doesn't work for me, using Gorilla glue doesn't either.

Make sure your getting the lip of the rubber all the way around the back of the pedal... They usually fit pretty snug

if Sarah belonged to my neighbor, the whole car would be held together with duct tape and balling wire. His modern car is.

If replacements still come off try 3M weather-strip adhesive.

Those pads were some of the items I changed out right off after buying Sarah. The others were well worn and in some places, through to the metal. The new ones slipped on fine and they were snug. After a few months, they started coming off, I'd put them back on and again and again. I used Gorilla glue the last time. It worked for a while.

My next pair I ordered should be here tomorrow from Snyders. We'll see!!!!

On motorcycle handle bars, some folk use hair spray and that seems to lock the rubber grips into place when new ones are installed. Not sure if it would work on those rubber pads or not, but may be worth a try.

Get the Fulton pedal covers they look great and are clamped on and were an accessory when our cars were new. Have them on both my Model As and get many complements on the look of them

Thanks for that info. If this set doesn't work out either or I get fed up driving around with the scent of my ex, I'll order these for sure.

Adhesives wouldn't stick to my rubber pads, until I roughed it up with 24 grit sandpaper & acetone.

I've been looking at the Fulton covers for awhile now......so in light of the Mac's thread I have a question....Snyder's sells these for $33.50 per pair, Gaslight sells them for $27.50 per pair and Mac's sells them for $35.99 each with a low price guarantee.

Is it possible these are all manufactured by the same company with these different prices, or is Mac's just over priced?

Thanks

Nick
