Default Open Car Top Clamping Bracket

I am having of those moments that we all get, where we self doubt something simple. The Open Car Top Clamping Bracket - which way is it fitted? In the attached picture I am thinking that this would be mounted, as it is positioned, on the left hand (in US drivers side) bow assembly.

John,
Attached below is a picture of an original top clamp on an unrestored 28 roadster. It is 180 degrees from the picture you posted. The forward mounting screw goes on the bottom of the front bow as seen in the picture.

Many thanks Rusty - that is the picture and information I wanted. Moment over. I still have a few more hours of Saturday afternoon to soldier on!

Cheers
