Hi all, does any one know if the 1936 ford 1/2 ton bumpers AND BRACKETS will interchange with my 1937 ford pickup. I am nearing completion on my build and would like to use the 1936 ford bumper (s) as the front bumper has a small "V" shape in the center of the bumper and the 37 is flat across. I think the v shape will assist in protecting the portion of the grill that sneeks out under the low point of the bumper on my 37 and will help protect it from possible curb kisses. Can any one tell me if the 36 brackets will fit on the 37 without altering

I was always told the bumpers with the v in the middle were passenger, not pickup. I would imagine the bumper irons are the same.

It should work just fine. 1936-37 1/2 ton front fenders are the same, and the frame is the same where the bumper brackets bolt to. Rear will be a different story as the box is longer on the 1937 than 1936.
