Default flathead mechanic

Can anybody recommend a flathead mechanic in the Santa Fe Springs, Calif. area? Could need just an extensive tune-up or possibly more? Low power, runs rich [no matter what I do with the screws] and motor seems loud compared to other motors I've heard. Motor is stock 36. Any help would be appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Call Jon Roberts in Azusa. 626 969 2646. He has done a lot of work for me from rebuilds on. I talked to him and he said OK to call. Mention my name.

Are you a member of the Early Ford V-8 Club of America? If so, look in the club roster for folks living near you and make a few phone calls. Surely someone near you will know, and can recommend a good Ford Flathead V-8 mechanic who would be willing to help you on this '36.
