When someone refers to a "Short Wheelbase" AA what length of wheelbase are they talking about? What is the wheelbase on a regular Model A?

There were four known Model AA Wheelbases:
112" for Drop Center Chassis; 131.5", 140", 157". Just what the 140" were for...I do not know...3 produced in the USA in 1932. But a majority were as Chris says. Pluck Pluck |

In Europe a 114" wheel base was also available . In England they were mostly used in the "carriage trade" high class taxis with coachbuilt bodies . In France some used as longer wheel base depot hacks in the produce trade . One was for sale in Uk a few years back . I got underneath to have a look . It had a regular but extended 103 1/2" frame with a short covered jackshaft mounted with an extra cross member . I should have taken some pics DRAT !!! The only reference in the English parts book that I can find is for the longer muffler system . More useless informatiun !!!
