I'm using the teflon tie rod/drag link kit, and I see the the inner cup on the teflon does not have a center grease hole, as the old original cups do.
My question is does this make a difference, how does the grease push through to the rest of the ball, outer cup and spring? Am I over thinking this? I'm going to assume the I keep the inner small grease cup to use with the teflon cups (see photo, far left little cup also has a little hole) I'm also changing over to the short pitman arm, can you tell which is the new pitman and why I needed to change it out, look at the ball.

The ball on the right is worn and no longer round, should be replaced. A short arm gives easier steering due to mechanical leverage. Teflon does not require grease but it doesn't hurt it, drill a hole or leave as-is, up to you.
