Default Tail lights...this might help

So an easy task of installing taillights on my P/U does come with some design additions which may help others here on Ford Barn. This is 12V install for my application.

Got these Vintique deluxe taillights and like most stuff they assume you know how to properly install them and come with out any instructions.

Pictured are the bed bracket, lamp assembly and wire cover. There are two wires black and green out of the bulb pigtail, which wire does brake?

Grounding the lamp housing to a battery(-) and touching the green wire to (+) the bulb is nice and bright "brake", the black wire is not as bright "tail light".

So... in the second picture the black wire I made with the loop connector/shrink wrap goes in between the tail light housing and bed support bracket with a star washer and the other end to the frame as ground. Hope this helps if your @ this stage of restoration. Scott
