I doubt if you can find new old stock parts to rebuilt one. Imported parts can be alright or they can be junk.

No they are not. The truck box has the same internal parts as the earlier car steering boxes and are easily rebuilt. That is the F1 box that a lot of Hot Rodders use on the older cars. I have an F1 box in my 33 Ford 5w.
