I have fitted the MACs bell housing to my A to enable a F150 gearbox to be fitted.
It was a simple installation but I had to drill a slot for the clutch return spring.
Mine is RHD but I don't think it would make any difference for LHD

Go into edit on your post and click on the "delete" box. There is a second box to confirm the "delete" is not just a mistake. Check that box and then click "delete".

I have a adapter ( Not made by Mac's ) It takes a AA bellhousing and mates a chev. S-10 5-speed. My car is still in the Build Stage. A friend has one , a very nice set up. I don't remember off hand who makes it, but their add was either in FAST or SOSS.

This has been posted before but here it is again.
A simple adapter can be made at home with NO machine tools.
This will get you from an A/B block to a Chev V8 bell housing which will then get you to many different transmissions with no more mods other tham mounts.
The adapter needs a 2 inch thick by 9 by 10 inch piece of aluminum and a 1/4 inch thick piece of aluminum 18 inches square. Everything behind the block becomes Chev and that means cheap. Lots of used stuff besides you can get new at any parts house across the country.
You use a Chev flywheel and clutch etc, bell housing and starter etc. Starter moves to the right side where there is more room.
