I don't have any pictures and can't find my camera, but there are 3 screws holding each end of the top of the frame to the sides.

Never mind, you have a Roadster, which is much different than the closed car frames.

On mine you unscrew the studs that the windshield pivots on and take it
out and the top of the windshield frame should slide up out of the side pieces.

Thanks Bob. I am only familiar with closed car windshields. I did not want to do damage to the new frame. It has a bolt on each side as you mentioned.

I am attaching some pictures of a 30/31 open car windshield frame I have. There is a right angle forged bracket on each upper corner. There appears to have been a spot weld that holds the corner brackets to the top frame channel - see hole where spot weld was removed for some reason. If you look real closely at the left corner bracket, you can see the small divot where the spot weld was ground out. With the corner brackets installed in the top channel and spot welded in place, the top channel is slid into the lower section and the pivot studs hold the windshield together - note the threaded hole in the right corner bracket. There are no other screws used to assemble the windshield frame. I am not a 30/31 person (I have four 28/29 model A's) but I think what I wrote above is correct as what I found when I dismantled the windshield frame.
