I just ignore the star system altogether. I would suggest others do the same. In fact, until you brought it up, I never even notice the stars. Is there a good reason to have the star system on Fordbarn?

Scroll up to the top and on the red line you'll see "rating" and some stars. Click on the word "Rating" and you can play teacher and pass out a gold star.

The maker of this forum software has a lot of functions that are not activated here on the barn. The ratings could have the name of the user that gave a rating. There is a function that one can "like" a post and even thank a post.

Depending on the mood I'm in I often vote excellent just to counter the 1 star fool.
