Default Feeling disloyal

I lost my mind and bought a couple of V8 Fords recently. I had wanted a V8, but you know how these things go.

I don't have enough garage space, so I rented a space and we took my Town Sedan over there on Friday evening to make space in the garage for my new 39 Ford. I have to say I felt a twinge of sadness to relegate my first Model A to a space farther away. I loved going to my garage and seeing both of my Model A's, so I feel a little disloyal having it somewhere else. I guess cars are a bit like kids. You love them all and you feel a little guilty when one isn't getting as much attention as another.

My new space is the parking garage of a condominium where a bunch of old car people rent space, so I think it will get noticed by a lot of others in the garage. I just hope it doesn't try to get back at me and be difficult to start when I want to take her out again. It is a great car and is dead reliable and fun like Model As. are.

I know the feeling............. just listed my 450sl on the bay and got a bid within hours.......... had it for at least 12 years now, went out and started it up and felt sad that it is going.

Never felt that way before, but I'm not using it, so time to move on..........

at least you're keeping your car.

My pickup turned into a 39 Standard Tudor. I don't even know how it happened, came into the shop and there it was. Truck gone, Tudor in it's place. Hey, it's my story and I can tell it my way, right?
