Default 1934 Acc Oil Pressure Sensor

Been thinking of adding an accessory oil gauge . On an original 1934 Block if you wanted to install an accessory oil pressure gauge either mechanical or electric where and how would you place the sensor? Karl

You must be able to do it because they did it with the Chex gauges . Perhaps if any one has the instructions for installing one of these it would help me -Karl

Karl, at back of block, behind cyl # 8, on the bell housing are two 1/4 pipe plugs. Either one of them will do.

On the driver's side of the block on the bell housing there are pipe plugs and the one that is vertical is the one you would use. I have an oil chex gauge in my 32 5w and the "sender" is basically an on/off switch that operates an electromagnet that changes the display from OFF to ON when oil pressure causes it completes the circuit.
