Default A differential question...

Back when I got my old Fordor, one rear drum was rusted to the brake shoes, so in getting that drum off, I removed the key in the shaft, and replaced the drum without the brakes for the time being. Now I've got it running again, but I have a question: Without that key in one of the rear brake drums, will the car move or not when it's in gear?
