Default 312 rods

any one have a source for a set of 312 rods, and what is a reasonable price to expect to pay? I have a good 312 block and crank, and am eventually going to build it. thanks, ------- Jim

Hi Jim,
I don't have any 312 rods, but I just got back from Alaska and we stopped and ate lunch in Palmer. I think the place was named the red turkey or something like that.

Turkey Red, it is not a bad place to eat. I live about 6 miles from there. Had I known you were close by, I would have invited you over.---Jim

The 1961 and newer 292 engines in the big trucks used the C1TE rod which is the same length as the ECZ 312 rod. I've pulled down the later model 312 marine engines that also had the C1TE rods in those also. Check with truck and/or marine salvage yards as the truck/marine engines are still sitting around. Jim, here is a set currently on EBAY. Pretty pricey though.
