Default '35-'36 tire carrier

First, I know the '35 and '36 have different wheel bolt patterns but does the carrier itself have the same bolt pattern where it bolts on to the car?

Yes, but keep in mind that there were three different versions of each to match the different contours of the rear body panel of the various body types.
