About 35 years ago I bought this spring. As I recall at the time I was told it was a retracting spring on the shaft for the early 28 left hand brake lever. I can not find a picture or drawing confirming this. However the January 28 parts book lists a spring (but does not show a picture) A-2744 Hand Brake Lever Retracting Spring, for A-2743 Hand Brake Lever Arm. There is no other spring on a Model A that comes close to looking like this spring. Careful examination indicates this spring is NOS.
Can anyone tell me for sure what this spring is, and better yet provide a picture if it fits the early 28 brake lever? Thank you |
