Default Brake line adapter

I am converting a '36 over to hydraulics. The master cylinder has a junction block for 1/4" flare tubing. All the brake lines are 1/4". Everything is new. Where I run into a problem is with a 3-way junction block I need for the rear. Unfortunately, the block I have is for 3/16" flare. Is it possible to adapt the block to a 1/4 flare? I have checked Weatherhead and Speedway and came-up empty handed. Two questions. Is there such an adapter and is it safe to have mixed diameter lines?

Thanks

Tom
