Default 1929 Roadster Paint Question

On a 29 roadster is windshield frame and stanchion painted body color or black my stanchion are black and windshield frame is body color. Top of door and body line is black.

windshield/stanchions painted same color as belt/molding, which is black in your case. In such a case, body is either Andalusite Blue or, alternatively, Black, though it seems one sees very few '29 roadsters that are restored to all black.

I took some pictures of Doug Clayton's Henry awarded 1929 roadster. I am sure he painted the windshield frame and stanchions correctly. Both are painted the primary body color. I am attaching a picture I took at French Lick in 2010. I believe only early 28's painted the stanchions and windshield frames black, unless the car was painted black.

egads I said something in error.....windshield frame gets painted the lower body color, same as the gas tank, hood, quarter panels, etc. Apparently your body is Andalusite Blue so that would be the windshield color too.
