Since my late 31' does not have its original engine; short of --you know where the frame number is, I was wonder if there is any dates when re-stamp firewalls ended and the newly indented firewalls started (or did they overlap etc.).. I have a non-restamped late 31' firewall... So wondering ballpark the date the car was assembled in Norfolk, VA.

do a search on: double stamped firewalls.

This calls out indented firewalls in April but I don't see restamps mentioned.

I believe all firewalls were indented by end may. The restamps were the first indents.
