Default Changing generator rotation direction

Hi, i Have 12v negative grounded bosch a type dc generator. I need to change rotation direction. Can i do that? How do I get it charging? Do i need to change field leads across.

Most DC generators will only operate in one direction without changing the relationship of the brushes.

Alternators will charge in either direction. Just change the fan for cooling.

Try a generator for a Chevy Corvair. They ran the opposite direction.
