Default My 30 Tudor

Hello, here is a short youtube video of my car. This was the day I brought it home right after my very first drive. Not only was this my first drive it was also the very first time being in a car that old. I've been working on it over the winter, having fun and learning as I go. I turned the cowl lights into turn signals, fixed the battery cable that was rubbing on the clutch pedal, put new grommets around the choke rod, installed a new fan blade and water pump, rerouted and cleaned up the wiring, and on and on and on...... I learned a lot from the old ford barn and I love the you tube videos on Model A's. I look forward to driving it a lot this summer!!!!

Welcome! I am a semi newbie, having purchased my first Model A towards the end of last summer. The first month was very trying indeed. I am sure I spent a few nights talking to myself and pleading with my car lol. But once I got the bugs worked out, it's been totally reliable. These are really fun cars and the people that are into them-at least around here-are very welcoming and seem to truly want to help.

Get in her and drive her like gasoline is still 25 cents a gallon ! Make sure you involve all your loved ones especially the older ones that remember the Model A and the young uns that can't believe cars ever looked like that. Wayne

My favorite color combination. Good luck and as they say drive it like you own it.

Very nice Tudor ; the 1930 ones look great in that colour combo. Do not let anyone put a Tudor down just because they were more common ; they were the most popular style ; roomy, practical with a back seat for extra people or luggage.
