Default Cabriolet sub rails / cross sills

We are doing a restoration on a 1930 Cabriolet. We would like to make our own sub rails and cross sills but we don't have all the dimensions necessary to get the job done. The Cabriolet Club has drawings that show the shape of the wood parts but the drawings are missing some critical dimensions. Is there a reliable source somewhere get a complete set of dimensioned drawings for Cabriolet sub rails and cross sills?

I was able to get quite a few drawings for 68-A body wood up at the Bensen Library. Maybe a trip there to study drawings would get you all the dimensions you need??

Thanks for the thought. If our local library doesn't have the information, I think they can do a search of larger librarys.

Does your Cabriolet have a fixed seat or an adjustable seat?

For the fixed seat I think you will require part # A-68030-B and A-68031-B for the side rails. The adjustable seat is A-68030-BR and A-68031-BR. The cross sill for either fixed or stationary seat would be A-68040.

The Benson Library charges $30 per page.

Due the difference in height between my son and I, we plan on going with the adjustable set. A neighbor just finished a 1931 Cabriolet and he didn't think there would be any problem putting 1931 sub rails, cross sills, and seat frame in a 1930.
Thanks for the part number info.
